Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services is proud to offer high quality treatment and prevention services for residents seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addictions. We offer the largest network of substance use treatment in Alameda County, with programs designed to meet an individual’s specific needs and circumstances. We value all of our beneficiaries and strive to provide quality services that support the ethnic, cultural, and linguistic differences that represent the rich diversity of the Bay Area.

A wide range of evidence-based treatments is available in our system, which includes the following types of programs and services:

• Residential and Sober Living Homes
• Outpatient & Intensive Outpatient
• Opioid Treatment Programs
• Recovery Support Services
• Drug and Alcohol Prevention Services

Call Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 7 p.m. Limited after hours support is available nights and weekends. A trained substance use counselor will ask you some questions about your experience with drugs and alcohol, and then make a referral to the most appropriate program. The process takes about 20 minutes.
